Ahhhh~!! Damn. My muscles are aching like crazy! All because of five items today! First up, sit ups! I passed at first lah! Then the teacher say cannot. Because no one saw :_( after which I had to do again. This time tired. I didn't pass. Next, standing board jump! I tried 10 times and passed 3 times! All of which the teacher did not see too!! Boo! Then sit and reach! Finally! A!!! 61cm! Whee! Pull ups, 2! Lucky! Shuttle run was a breeze! Literally. Everyone was so fast, you could feel the breeze! Obviously I only just passed. Sigh. 
    Shi Xian and I did an art piece today! Woah. We are doing one everyday. I mean. We did one yesterday and one today. So every day for the time being. We did the same picture but different style. Haha. Will post some photos soon! 
    Anyway, on Monday, we had... Syf dinner!! Whee! @ seoul garden at city square mall! Damn full! Totally enjoyed myself! Thanks for the feast! We went home after photo sessions and arcade!! 
    Oh! And recently, my Internet connection just sucks! Always need to refresh! Grr! I'm angry! Not. Okok. Going to sleep now! Good night!

    Whee!! Today's event was xin min's homecoming! Which was really a carnival. Anyway, before heading down there, I meet up with bunnypanda and sent her to school! She has om today! And she's a kitty! Meow! They got 4th! Congrats! 
    So anyway, I arrived there at 9.30? Me being the scared cat I am did not dare to go in when I did not see any public going into xin min! I had to be invited in! Thus, missing the band's performance! Boo!!! 
    Today, I got to see the side of xin min peeps others might never get to see! They were crazy! In a good way of course. They all loosened up! At the pillow fight, lin Rui and gary were running around like mad men! Well, I guess this was a good way to de-stress. Overall, the day was fun at xin min!
    Then, we all headed up to the hall, after the whole carnival, to witness a phenomena. Xin min band practice. They were insanely good! Like nothing I've heard! A whole new level altogether! With occasional glitches which are inevitable. Thanks!! As they finished their Masada, I felt. Woah! Just in awe! Continue that up and enjoy yourselves on Monday! 
    Speaking of syf, congratulations scgs! For clinching gold! You guys, girls just made wonderful music up there! You deserved it! Continue making music! 
    Yup. I had dinner with the xin min trumpet peeps and a mystery person. It was awesome! Laughed like crazy! So anyway, thanks lin Rui, Zhen jie, hui xin, sandy, Tricia, wan Yong, Eugenia and all the xin min peeps for allowing me to enjoy today! Thanks! Oh! And also, good luck for Monday! You guys will rock the stage!

    Hmmm... Well, today, A maths test was a screw! I'm gonna get 0 for that. Completely did not understand! Bio, started on chapter 17!! Sexual repro! It's what people take bio for! Most of them... Anyway, I bought tons of coloured pens! Pink, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo! Yeah! Oh! And started on new type of art. Computing with words. It's damn cool. Will post a picture after I get one! 
    Commonwealth had their syf today! Yi Qian told me everything. Glad they had fun up there. Although it was sad those weird judges had to give em silver. Whatever. The award is of little importance anyway! 
    SCGS having theirs tomorrow! Chari!! Do well ok? Follow the example of commonwealth! They had fun and are happy despite getting silver! That's what syf is truly about. It's to enjoy making music with your band. Have faith in em! Smile! Ok? Although the judges might probably think you are gila! Most importantly, rock the stage! Your bar 100 will b a hit! Love you babe! Have faith in yourself too! You pinky promised! Here's your blog post! Whee!

    Wow! It's over. It's finally over. SYF... In the blink of an eye, four years have passed. Students become the teachers, follower becomes the leader. It's just so fast and shocking. I can't bear to leave the band. After all, band is indeed a second home to me, providing me with warmth and friends. As juNe Ping says, we will feel empty. People will cry. But I guess, it lives on in everyones heart. 
    Well, first things first. Ang mo kio symphonic band, gold! Whee! Sigh. Although I was a little disappointed, I guess it's ok. I bet my solo wrecked our chances. I'm feeling a little happy and a little sad. Mixed feelings. 
    We spent the waiting time at Benedict's house. They were playing monopoly deal, pool or just talking. Heh. I was too tired and went to sleep. Before heading over, we did the traditional Tau pok and went to ichiban to feast! Yeah! Haha. 
    Hmm... We are really leaving the band. For our studies. I don't know how the juniors feel about that. Some maybe happy, others sad. But the thing I have to say to them, is the same.
    Dear juniors, although we do not present you with gifts, letters or any gesture of care, we do care. For every single one of you. We are leaving. Some of you might feel lost and empty. But it's normal. You will get over us and move on, bringing the section and the band, to a greater height. There will be times where you feel like giving up. Just remember that no matter what, your seniors and more importantly your batch mates will be there for you. Anyway, just one last thing. Make music during your time at amk symphonic. Don't lower your expectations. Make every second in band count. Enjoy yourself.
    I guess I'll leave you all with these words. We'll visit. I promise. Oh. And... We love you.

    Let's see... 11 hours plus still SYF. What should I feel? Ahh!!! I feel super anxious. I'm currently at juNe Ping's! House! It's because my house was too far. Well, actually, not. It's because we have to report in school by... 5.30! Ah! Well, Although his house is not big and may not be luxurious, its comfy and humble. I love it! Thanks juNe ping! 
    Anyway, today's practice was just abit of polishing and understanding what we are going to do on stage tomorrow. Ok! Gonna sleep now! Good night peeps! Hope I do not screw up! I'm gonna show the world! Go AMKSS Band! Update tomorrow!    

    Aye! I can't hear you! Aye captain! Lalala~! Sorry I'm like this. It's the only thing I can do with 2 days away from syf!! Ah~! Runs around in panic! Okok. Sorry. What I really talk about is my experience in preparation for syf! On 5 April! Ok. It all started on one fateful day, when mr tan walked in with sinfonia in his hands. " let's try this " he said. It became our choice piece. Sinfonia.
    Well, we've come a long way. From not a single sound to where we are today. Although it is far from what I expect. All that matters is making music on stage that morning. Countless hours have been spent on the pieces. That's why it's important to do it well on the day itself! 
    My section, whom I'm very proud of, are so independent that I don't have to go through the parts slowly one by one with them. Thanks for that. Just remember to have fun up on stage. Make music! Be sensitive. I'm sure we have our differences. And they are needlessly hindering our music making process. So I really want everything put behind and you guys holding hands confronting that scary stage! Work together! 
    Next, are my alumnus. They've been there with me when I'm down. Encouraging me without me asking for it. Thats what i really miss about band. The seniors just seem to be there for you without a question. That's why I wonder. Is it us that caused our juniors to become like this. Maybe if we showed my care and concern. 
    Next is bunnypanda! Thanks for always taking time to talk to me. And to listen to whatever I had to say. Offering solutions now and then. You may not think you are important in my life. The fact is, you are! I'm sorry I always seem so busy to you. So after syf, I promise! I'll make up for all the time we've lost. Oh Yah. This post is for you!
